33. Coisrig Cadail / Sleep Consecration

  • Nov. 2nd, 2007 at 8:17 PM
Dragons, Winter
I lie down to-night
With fair Boann and with her Son,
With gentile Aengus,
And with comfort beneath her mantle;

I lie down with Dagda,
And Dagda will lie down with me,
I will not lie down with Bres,
Nor shall Bres lie down with me.

O Good Father of the poor,
Help me this night,
Omit me not entirely
From Thy feasting hall.

For the great feast
That you enjoy,
I cannot this night
Enumerate it’s size.

Thou Father of the Tuatha De Danann,
Do not forget me in Thy dwelling-place,
Do not omit me in Thine ingathering.

In Thine ingathering.
