1. Nightly Ritual

  • Circle of Stones

Prayer to the Ancestors – 6 repetitions
Prayer to the Nature Spirits 6 repetitions
Prayer to the Deithe – 6 repetitions
Prayer to Brighid – 5 repetitions

[take off and kiss Brighid pendant]

2. Morning Ritual

  • Purification
[ Take a morning shower ]
  • Connecting with the Three Realms

May the sacred earth continue to lend life its support…
[ touch the earth, and then touch the abdomen ]

May the eternal sea continue to supply its life giving waters to the world…
[ touch some water, and then touch the chest ]

May the endless sky continue to supply the breath of life to the world…
[ point to the sky, and then touch the forhead ]

Through the power of the world tree, Bile, may I connect to the three realms through body, spirit, and soul. And may I always seek wisdom, be granted sight, and gifted with health.
[ kiss and put on Brighid pendant ]

The basic structure, and design of this Ritual is inspired from Erynn Laurie's Warrior Ritual... However I changed the words a bit...

If you're referring to the ritual done in late August that [info]erynn999 posted in her LJ and on [info]cr_r, then it is not "her" ritual as such; it was written by myself and [info]wire_mother and a woman name Erin "Mint" Zelnio, and [info]erynn999 helped us perform it.

And, in fact, a few of those passages above that are reminiscent of the ritual were actually by [info]lysana and [info]blackfyr from some rituals they did in the past, which we've re-used in the Bríg Ambue ritual, etc.
